Women's mental health: an overview

Jayashri Kulkarni MPM PhD FRANZCP is Professor of Psychiatry at the Alfred Hospital and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She has been involved in schizophrenia research, particularly in the area of women and psychosis. Her special expertise is in psychoneuroendocrinology, and she has developed new treatment strategies using hormones such as oestrogen.
