Aims and Scope

Women's Health Medicine provides relevant, cutting-edge review articles for gynaecologists, obstetricians, and general practitioners involved in the field of women's health medicine. As a bi-monthly journal, this resource has proved to be an invaluable educational tool for doctors and other professionals involved in the health care of women. Each issue focuses on a different topic (both gynaecological and non-gynaecological issues) of women's health care, such as: women and food, pain relief for childbirth, medical problems in pregnancy, bone disease, menorrhagia and other menstrual problems, and endometriosis and pelvic pain. In addition to the topic-related papers (including the aetiology, epidemiology, management and prevention) for each issue, the journal also provides a self-appraisal form, through which readers can monitor and self-evaluate their own medical education. Articles are prepared by authoritative experts, specially commissioned to discuss up-to-date knowledge and practice in their field.
